"On the 4th of April, upon updating registration, I was given a citation over a city ordinance which may seem minimal for most, but for me it meant it would infringe on my rights. I first tried to voice my concern to city officials such as police chief who never responded, municipal Judge who would not address the ordinance and so forth. So I searched online for attorney who specifically would know sex offender laws and I got to speak with the receptionist, who was courteous and helpful. So I retain the service of Keith & Lorfing, and I was set up for a conference for the next day. I was asked about details of the Ordinance and my passed violation and later text additional cause numbers and charges. By the 9th, five days later, my citation was up for dismissal and granted. By the 14th I received a call that the case was dismissed. That was a relief, because of Attorney David Sloan, I knew my rights had been protected and that I would not be a victim from their impunity..... which would be an official not being held accountable for their actions, despite evidence of wrong doing. Again, Mr Sloan was swift, ethical and always in constant communication on what the next step could lead to. I cannot extend my appreciation enough for keeping me away from being another statistic."
