"Jacob "Jake" Holmes is representing my unresponsive general contractor that is in breach of two contracts. The business owner refuses to speak with me or make any attempts to make it right even though I was left without basic necessities that I paid for, including running water. Any attempt at communicating results in him referring me to his attorney, Jake. Unfortunately Jake the attorney is more unresponsive than his client. Jake sent me a rushed complaint and threatening demand letter that may violate my federal rights instead of even trying to settle amicably. He threatened to sue me and take my property if I don't stop contacting the business about their breach and don't stop leaving my honest online reviews. They also demand I pay in full for services I didn't receive. I never even receive a final breakdown or invoice because the work isn't done!! It's obvious to me Jake didn't bother looking at any of the documents and pictures I sent and was just trying to scare me. This was followed by zero response to my follow up emails. I'm not a lawyer but I went to Law School and know how to find a reputable attorney that respects the law. In my opinion Jacob "Jake" Holmes is not it and I will be seeing him and his client in court to prove it. I will update with the results for transparency purposes whether it goes my way or not."

"At this time, I would like for EVERYONE to read this review…if I could rate this firm negative stars I would: First off, I’m a resident of TN. I currently work for a personally injury firm and plan to continue my studies receiving my JD next year. My grandmother was involved in a hit and run, I was a passenger…Due to the same insurance but different states we had to hire counsel. My TN attorney provided me the information to this law firm, come to find out I went to school with Jake Holmes! So I thought my grandmother would be in good hands! Absolutely not! Considering we are both in the same profession I figured it would go smoothly, until his friend who represented me was TERMINATED he decided to be unethical and bias against my grandmothers case. Would never return her calls, never ordered any bills and records..absolutely nothing was done on the case. She was suppose to testify under oath and the date was changed several times as no communication from counsel…he talked to my grandmother whom is in her 70s btw disrespectful on, never gave her advice or communicated. The information posted below is only partial to what this horrible person has done…I knew he’d changed after his friend was fired from my case due to inadequate counsel but never knew he would do the same to my grandmother. The last straw was last week my grandmother was suppose to be sworn in for her statement..she message JAKE HOLMES, and he got smart with her..see below..this was last Wednesday and her appointment was for Thursday, no response. On Monday night I messaged Jake because I am trying to assist anyway I can, he replies back 10am at the farm Bureau office, no address, no instructions or anything! My grandmother went to the local claim office in Blytheville sat for an hr and he no showed..of course they didn’t have good things to say about him either…just to find out, it was suppose to be in Little Rock he didn’t show nor did he let Opposion Counsel know he was not going to be there..and to top it off you send me the termination letter and not your client..,then sends an email about 20mins ago terminating rep with no explanation…so of course this is not over for us..we will be filing an official BAR complaint against him! This was unacceptable, unprofessional, unethical and I will not recommend this firm TO ANYONE! I will also be posting the correspondence below because we all know some reviews are not truthful. I will keep you all updated and be very careful who you hire! Need a personal injury firm who cares about your case and will not be bias…comment below and I’ll be sure to help."

"Worst law office I could have used. Very unprofessional and they never answered the phone. Lawyer was late to the one court date she did get me because she took another case for a niece in Conway. My case was handled very negligibly and I feel I could've gotten much better results elsewhere, possibly even winning my case. I was texted the day before the next court case asking about a file she already had, she said it was in storage so I resent it. The next day my court date got pushed back by her ruining the time sensitive argument we had. I've been trying to get my files back for a year and now they're saying they've lost them. Don't waste your time or money. Edited for reply: Such a snarky reply and condescending. I don't wish to be your only client, I just wanted you to do your job. 3 court dates - 1 you were late to and I had to explain to the judge where you were (embarrassing / lost that pretrial), the second you pushed back for another client's court date (understandable), and the third you pushed back without talking to me because you didn't have all your info (the one where you asked me for a screenshot I'd already given you but you said my files were in storage). You then went and talked to the defense attorney and told him what was going on at his home (strange) before you postponed the last one which meant he now would've had months to prepare for their defense instead of 30 days since the discovery motion. I finally had to just settle out of court because after 3 years the time sensitive things I had didn't matter anymore. On the former employee's phone: This was the number I was told to contact (the secretary). I also have the Blytheville office number and I'm guessing the previous Jonesboro number. I've been calling all numbers since May trying to get my files back. I have recording/call log proof. The former employee didn't leave until August as I was still getting responses and have proof of that as well. What's unprofessional is requesting a client go through a cell phone to contact the secretary and then they quit and now all of my texts before and after the termination are on her device. That's unethical and goes against attorney-client privilege to now find out I've been communicating with someone about my case who no longer works with my attorney. On the files I gave y'all at the start: I will not be paying any printing costs to get my property back. I don't want court pleadings, I want my 2 USB drives worth 1/2GB each and my stack of physical paper evidence. If I cannot get these things I will be contacting the judiciary office, state bar association, getting another attorney and suing for malpractice."
