About:
Justin Criner received his undergraduate degree in Political Science at Virginia Commonwealth University where he met his wife and fell in love with Richmond and the surrounding areas. Mr. Criner received his juris doctor from the Appalachian School of Law in 2013 where he was a senior editor of the law journal and the president of the local Lions’ Club. He remains active in the community and can regularly be found at Lions’ Club or VCU athletic events. Before joining our firm, Mr. Criner worked as a prosecutor and criminal defense attorney in Charleston, WV and opened his own practice in the Stafford, VA area. His areas of practice include criminal and family law as well as an active civil litigation practice in numerous areas, Mr. Criner prides himself on being able to bring countless hours of courtroom experience to each case while still taking the time to provide personal attention to individual clients and explore new ideas. He resides in Chesterfield County with his wife and daughter.

"To go off of Ze’s post, Daniel is horrible and does not return calls. Actually today I learned today they are in receivership and basically gone…. So those old ratings mean nothing at this point, because they are out of business"

"I see the positive reviews here are for Daniel. Unfortunately, I never had the opportunity to work with him. If you are interested in working with attorneys that return calls, respond to emails, or do what the say they will do, I suggest you keep looking. I would not recommend Ms. Foster-Jones or Mr. Criner for even the simplest of legal filings."

"I thank my lucky stars that I got to work with Mr. Vall-Llobera. My case was complicated and not a guaranteed win, and he really saved the day for me. He was compassionate, understanding, and knew every detail of my case in and out. In the courtroom he was a rockstar and handled many objections from the defense without breaking a sweat.
