"I paid $2,500 for legal representation from Judy Kim, but my experience did not meet my expectations. I accepted the first plea deal offered, which I was initially told would be the worst-case scenario. There did not appear to be much effort to negotiate alternative options. On my court date, Ms. Kim was not present; another attorney appeared instead and arrived over 30 minutes late, which caused me some stress. The attorney also had a noticeable stain on their suit jacket, which felt unprofessional in the courtroom setting. Communication was challenging. I called during the times I was advised, but it seemed at times that she was not familiar with my case details. This led me to feel that she might have had many clients to manage simultaneously. Overall, I did not feel fully supported and believe I might have found more attentive representation elsewhere, possibly at a lower cost. I have had previous representation for a gun charge for $1,200 that felt more effective. In hindsight, I do not feel the services I received matched the cost. "Very rude ,Terrible Customer Service, Unprofessional. If I can give less stars to an establishment this would be it! If you're in the market to be screwed over by a terrible lawyer office of Judy Kim is definitely the person you want to have in your corner. Within an less than an hour of talking to her an she went through her whole spiel about what she is going to do or expected to do for me so I paid her in full.  Shortly after that, the next day she went on vacation I know because I've called several times to no one was available. Finally I received a call back along with the probably why I was not getting a response. I initially contact her because I wanted to have all my ducks in a row so I can get deployed earlier, for the navy. Once she saw she could not do that she then went on to tell me that "the best you can do is try to get my case resolved as fast as possible" once my case is ready to be thrown out aka the stature of limitation and that it can take up to 4 months even longer to get it taken care of. That was in June which also was the last time I have heard from her June 26th. Fast forward to November 9th ,not one call not one update several calls to call office and being told the same thing over and over again the case is in limbo. I got tired of waiting an took the matter to my own hands went down to the solicitor's office and ask the questions that I pay my lawyer for, the solicitor informed me that the case has been resolved and that I can get the paperwork the same day i got the document notarized that same day I had  no idea how long it was dismissed . I then call the office asking to speak to jody kim, there a gentleman informed me once again that t”here's no new info on my case”, and it has not reached the statue of limitation, now a red flag has gone up and questions now in my head. I was told "well it's not our fault" the young gentleman ( who was also Rudy himself) informed me and that we are just waiting for the case ticket called even though i had the papers in my hand which is my lawyers job to know this already....This is an have been the longest ordeal I have ever been through, but hey something good came out of this. 1) a little research with some persistence can go a long way and 2) Miss Kim sure did make it a point to take her cut off the top for doing absolutely nothing!!!! Don't worry, I'll do your job for you. I’m m now a United States sailor, blessed and highly favored Good luck!! I really mean it."
