About:
Daniel Jones earned his Juris Doctor from the University of San Diego School of Law. While attending law school, he served as the Chair of Pro Bono Legal Advocates and was awarded the State Bar of California’s Wiley W. Manual Award for Pro Bono Legal Services, one of the most prestigious pro bono awards given in the state. He was also recognized for his outstanding oral advocacy and legal writing. Daniel earned his undergraduate degree in Accounting from Westminster College. Prior to joining the firm, Daniel worked as a law clerk for the Primary Public Defender in San Diego where he gained valuable trial experience arguing before the Superior Court of California. He also worked as a clerk for the Employee Rights Center where he represented clients in employment and immigration matters. Daniel is fluent in Spanish. Daniel is admitted to practice in the state of California and is a member of the State Bar of California and the Consumer Attorneys of San Diego. Daniel has been named a Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2017, an achievement limited to the top 2.5% of attorneys in California.

"I don't usually give 1 star but I have to write what I truly and honestly feel. My son struggles with bipolar and because of this, he's landed himself in trouble with the law a few times. He recently was in a program where his housing arrangement allowed other's to share rooms. He was jumped by 2 drug users and when the police came he was arrested because of his probation violation. His prior attorney offered me cheaper deal but the office didn't take payments. That's when I searched and found Jones Law Firm. Sean took my son's case in December of 2024. Through out this time; He's rarely communicated the case to me. I can never reach him by phone. His assistant texts me but half the time I can rarely reach her. When I do she's always also unclear on things as well. He's never been to visit and communicate with my son about his case. He went out of town and went on a trial for another client while my son's court dates where still in sessions. Then he had his former mentor/boss stand in for him (on my son's case) without telling him the case. Or telling me/and my son. This was for 2 or 3 court appearances. I live in Los Angeles and my son's incarcerated in San Diego. So,I drive 3 hours. Taking off of work to attend court. I took a second job to try and pay the fees but to be honest. I feel it's almost not worth what we're being charged. I'm writing this in hopes that others will be aware."

"it was a little bumpy at the beginning but they stuck by us and we suck by them and i can honestly say they are an amazing team and they do their best to make sure they keep you informed and they make sure to get the best result."
