"If I wasn't nervous enough going in, after spending about 10 minutes with me for my "free consultation" asking general questions first, where we work, how much do we get paid. He asked me to explain why I was at the decision of divorce after only 10 months. I started telling him the issues at hand, and he basically stopped me in my tracks and said, "well I can tell you now you have way bigger problems than that. I don't see how you could possibly pay me to represent you." I said sir, you're the first one I reached out to, I'm lost and I have no idea where to start. I wanted the consultation to see what you could do for me. He said it would cost $4,500 to represent me and he sees no way that I can afford it. Whether I could or couldn't, he had me leaving out of there feeling so judged and hurt. IF YOU KNOW WHAT YOU CHARGE THEN YOU SHOULD TELL PEOPLE SO THEY DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME NOR THEIRS. HOW WAS I TO KNOW WHAT KIND OF INTEGRITY YOU HAD UNTIL THE "free consultation". Shame on you sir. I pray people have treated your family better than I was treated today by you in your office. Long term covid affects? Perhaps you reap what you sow. Treat others as you would have others treat you. Shame on you for being so judgemental."

"My family and I were very pleased with how Mr. Kurtin handled everything in our case (not guilty on a literal made up charge, and malicious prosecution). Our court/justice system, is not what we are led to believe, and without people like Mr. Kurtin, real attorneys, that will push back, enforce protocols, and the law as it is written and legislated, none of us have a chance at real defense against the corrupt among us.
