Now with over a decade of criminal defense experience, Attorney Johnny Lai graduated from the UCLA School of Law’s Public Interest Law Program in 2001. He became an attorney with the purpose of serving low-income and underserved communities and helping people assert and defend their Constitutional Rights. He received his Masters Degree from the Goldman School of Public Policy at U.C. Berkeley and his undergraduate degree from Pomona College in Claremont, CA. Attorney Johnny Lai is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association’s Indigent Criminal Defense Appointments program and has been in private practice since 2002.

"Called "THIS" attorney for an advice, I've asked the SECRETARY from his office if this attorney could kindly call me back on the evening of 2/28/19 Couple of hours later attorney calls my cell phone. Prior calling him, I've asked him for a quote, AND he tells me right away on my tragic ticket for a cell phone violation, for him to come down to the court from his LOCATION to the nearest courthouse, which was no more them (5) miles, HE WOULD DO ME A FAVOR, straight off the bat, THIS LAWYER told me he'll charge me $1,000 This? Ladies and Gentleman, I call this a dishonest, and a very very easy way over the sky rocket price of unheard of. It's like a highway robbery. Wow... I spoke to (5) lawyers the same day, the lowest was $200 and the highest was $325 I asked him on the phone, DID YOU GRADUATED FROM HARVARD LAW WITH A PHD? HE RESPONDED, NO. What a shame... Robbing, and OVERCHARGING the community. I will inform the California Bar Association. I can imagine, what kind of a lawyer this man ihss. I'm sure he'll read. I'm sure, he's not happy with my remarks. I'm sure, he'll notify Google and Yelp to have it removed. Wall of SHAME. "Greg""
