"The hotel left something to be desired. The room service was alright. The mini bar and bathroom shelves were extremely dusty. I found fake eye lashes and clothing tags on the floor from the previous guests. Overall the women were the least hospitable staff members when it came to checking in and poolside service. My room was not ready on time either. Obviously it could be worse but for the cost it certainly could be better."

"This room was so dusty it made my allergies horrible. The shower wasn’t clean and there were marks and smudges all over the walls The front desk and Valet were pleasant but for over $300 a night I expect a clean room at the very least"

"The Kimpton Sawyer is one of those hotels that immediately feels like the right choice. The design is modern and airy, with an almost rooftop-like vibe and incredible views of the city. From 5 to 6 PM they host a social hour near the lobby where cocktails are poured and, on Fridays and Saturdays, appetizers are served too. Later in the evening, the energy shifts again at the bar with a DJ from 7 to 11 PM, a 21+ scene that brings in great music and a lively atmosphere. The gym is gorgeous and fully equipped, which I really appreciated—it feels like a real workout space rather than the usual small hotel gym. And the location couldn’t be better. You’re right in the middle of downtown, just steps from restaurants, shopping, and dessert spots. Overall, I loved my stay here. It’s stylish, comfortable, and fun, with amazing views and plenty to do without ever leaving the hotel. Definitely one of the best places to stay in Sacramento"

"We didn’t stay at this hotel but the story timeline is enough to share we were looking around for a hotel we actually live in sac just a one night stay so we can go to the night club down the way but all that changed when were profiled for the way we looked and dressed all we were looking for was a nice hotel no matter the cost but when we went up to the receptionist she told us they had no rooms available and to go check the holiday inn nothing wrong with the holiday inn but something didnt seem rite they weren’t turning down other people that were just willingly walking in for a one night stay, in fact my wife decided to give them a call over the phone while I on the other hand looked it up online and of course over the phone my wife got the response of there is one room available and online there was a room available as well. To us this seems like profiling just two hard working average Jo’s getting off work and wanting to spend a little alone time. Is this place corporate?"
