I am a native San Franciscan and have been an advocate for the accused since 2003. My office handles felony and misdemeanor criminal cases. I have represented clients in cases involving life exposure, violent crimes sex offenses and domestic violence, DUI vehicular manslaughter, DUI's with priors, white collar embezzlement, grand theft, drug offenses including possession for sale, Fish & Game violations, Juvenile offenses, expungements, DMV issues and more. Here are just a few: 1) A jury trial acquittal on a felony assault GBI; 2) A mistrial (hung jury) on 45 to life sex case; 2) a mistrial on 3 strikes, life in prison, sex case; 3) numerous dismissals or charge reductions at trial on DV/assault cases; 4) granting of Coram Nobis motion and dismissal of a conviction enabling a commercial fisherman to keep his fishing license and continue his livelihood; 5) no jail time and reduction from felony to misdemeanor on a $15,000 embezzlement of a non-profit by a local police officer; 6) no jail time and reduction from felony to misdemeanor where defendant charged w possession for sale and assaulting an officer causing injury; 7) a dismissal on a felony where client arrested and charged with evading the police in a vehicle chase where counsel’s investigation discovered the real perpetrator of the crime; 8) the release and exoneration after 4 months in custody of a 15 year old juvenile involved in a felony drive-by shooting where the prosecution wanted my client to stay incarcerated until the age of 25. That client went on to graduate from UC Santa Cruz and is now a teacher.
