"Awesome venue, we had the 5 course tasting menu which was out of this world, old fashions were amazing, and the service was top notch!"

"Overall experience was just ok. We were greeted by a friendly hostess and seated immediately. Upon sitting down, my group all agreed that the lighting is too low. If staff have to provide flashlights, then there ought to be more consideration taken. You should be able to read the menu and, later on, see the food. Our waiter was enthusiastic and attentive. He did forget a dessert drink ordered, but we weren’t charged for it, so didn’t mention it. Recommendations for table sharing could have been more guided in terms of food portions (we actually thought the portions were on the large side and may have ordered slightly differently in retrospect). Biggest fail of the night was a main course chicken. We actually ordered 2 for the table; one was fine but the other was sent back and only described by the waiter as ‘anomalous’ when it was returned to the kitchen. It seemed to be undercooked and rubbery but with the poor lighting we couldn’t really tell and weren’t given a very clear explanation. Of course, we were not charged for the chicken returned, but rather put off for potentially having consumed undercooked poultry. Other than removing the item from the bill, no other gesture was made, which I thought would have gone a long way to improve the situation. Desserts were great, though again, almost too big!"
