"Be warned about this individual – he is truly deceitful. I provided half of the retainer for an RFO years ago, and he accomplished absolutely nothing. He claimed the money was used for his "reviewing" of my paperwork. Highly doubtful. Attempting to reach him was an exercise in futility. His receptionist consistently stated he was "unavailable." However, when a friend of mine called in as a prospective new client, Verdin was immediately available and eager to engage. This behavior is both unprofessional and unacceptable. Proceed with extreme caution."

"Mr. Verdin was an incredible advocate and advisor throughout my divorce from start to finish. I felt that I could entrust him with every aspect of my case, and came to greatly value his advice. He was able to foresee and address issues with support payments, critical stipulations, property valuations, etc. before they became problems, which made the process a lot smoother than I thought it could be. "Jesse is a thoughtful and experienced family law attorney that has single-handedly turned around a very complex case for custody of my 8 year old son. I did not have even close to enough time with my child and Jesse didn't just blindly ask me to follow his advice to get more time. He provided a perspective on the law I had never considered: What the law says and how it's applied can vary greatly depending on the circumstances and/or context of a case. We needed our strategy to capture how the law would be applied in my case and not myopically consider the technical details of how the law is written. This was to me, a moment of clarity and furthermore, a concept that had not ever been successfully explained to me by any attorney except Jesse in more than 8 years of fighting for custody. He explained what was happening, why it was happening and what I should do or not do. This is exactly where his 31 years of experience became so incredibly valuable and why I went from 0 overnights during the week and only 2 overnights on my weekends to now; picking up my son directly after school on Thursday and then having uninterrupted custody through Monday morning when I drop him back off at school. I even have Thursday to Friday morning when its my ex's weekend. That's an increase of 6 overnights a month! This result came about from an exchange Jesse had with the judge during a status update which is just extraordinary. I waited eight years to finally be able to pick up and drop my son off from school. Jesse got that for both me and my son. Now I can help my my little boy with his homework and we're so much closer. I'm spending time working him with on both his social and educational development. We can finally go on extended trips to see family or even go on mini vacations. These are the direct results from hiring Jesse and then simply following his legal advice. In the past 8 years I have tried a few different attorneys and I am grateful for all their work. However, if I had found Jesse when my custody issues first started then I would've had so much more time with my son. I never take for granted having Jesse as my family law attorney.
