"As one can imagine, the need to hire a criminal defense attorney is extremely stressful. Knowing that you are hiring the right attorney to represent you in this circumstance is a life altering decision- you are putting your future in the hands of a stranger and trusting that they will defend your future as if it was their own. Who should you trust when taking that risk? I was referred to Jay Patel through a close friend who assured me that I would be in good hands. It was the first time in my life that I was in a position to seek legal counsel, criminal defense especially. I was unfamiliar with the legal system, the process, the potential outcomes and how they would affect my life and future moving forward. To say I was overwhelmed is an understatement. It felt like a nightmare. I put full faith into the recommendation to contact Jay Patel’s office, and looking back it was best decision I ever made. "I truly cannot give Jay and Sarah enough praise and gratitude in this review! They took over my case from another attorney and treated me like they had me from the beginning. The QUICK, responsive communication from them both and keeping me well informed and making sure I understood each step in the process, made me feel I really had someone on my side, not just pushing me through the system.
