Jason Morton is a graduate of the University of Baltimore School of Law and was admitted to the Bar in 1994. Jason served as a law clerk in the Circuit Court for Washington County before practicing with Strite and Schildt, P.A. He was an adjunct professor of Civil Litigation, Employment Law, Constitutional Law and Legal Ethics at Kaplan University. He joined our firm in 2011. Jason’s practice emphasizes Family Law, including divorce, custody, visitation and guardianships. He also handles a variety of other types of cases that involve contracts and litigation. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Washington County Bar Association, Habitat for Humanity of Washington County and has served as President of the Exchange Club of Antietam. "Salvatore threatened my grandmother with litigation if I didn't remove a negative review after providing terrible council. She passed, so I can finally honestly review him without him making her fear that she'll lose everything for something she had nothing to do with. Shame, people like this shouldn't be allowed near our legal system."

"Mr. Morten only cares to take on what he deems as “easy” cases. do not waste your time with a consultation fee on this man. Because that is all that he is wanting. as it’s not even a guarantee he will take on your case. he is also very judgemental and has no compassion or empathy towards a person’s legal matters even though he himself would admit he himself has never been through what you are going through. A great attorney is able to take on any case. I know now what kind of attorney Mr. Morten is. He also likes to keep your legal papers for no reason."

"It’s been a long time; years later and I’m looking back to the way I was treated as a young man seeking help from out of state, and still hurts to think about the situation I faced feeling scared and alone. We managed to work through it but I don’t feel that they really fault for me and my rights and for me to still be thinking about it till this day hurts."
