DVLawyers AI Summary:
This law firm primarily focuses on defending clients against DUI charges, criminal offenses, and traffic violations. While their main practice areas revolve around criminal law, it's essential to note that they may not specialize specifically in domestic violence cases or issues directly related to family law, such as custody or restraining orders. The information provided on their website indicates a commitment to understanding the legal challenges their clients face, suggesting they approach each case with care and a focus on obtaining the best possible outcomes for their clients. The tone of the firm appears professional and assertive, emphasizing their experience and dedication to fighting for their clients' rights. However, it lacks a more empathetic or trauma-informed approach that is often crucial for survivors of domestic violence. Survivors seeking legal assistance may feel that this firm is more suited to those facing criminal charges rather than individuals looking for support in navigating domestic violence situations. If you are a survivor of domestic abuse, this firm may not be the most fitting choice, as their expertise does not specifically address the nuances of domestic violence cases. If your legal needs are related to DUI or criminal issues, they may be a suitable option. However, if you require assistance with domestic violence matters, custody disputes, or protective orders, it would be beneficial to seek out a law firm that specializes in family law and has a clear understanding of the trauma associated with domestic violence.

"Only an initial phone consultation and he did follow up on the supposed crime but said ethics prevented him from defending me. I thought a lawyer's ethics is to defend his client or soon to be client. Would not pursue an avenue given to defend. Otherwise he seemed like a nice guy but would never hire a lawyer more interested in his personal ethics than defending a client. This was about 2-3 years ago approx. Probably not a good choice to hire for an alleged sex crime. I think he believes everything the prosecutor told him in my case without forming a valid defense that would have exonerated me even though I have not been formally charged yet An alleged crime 47 years ago with the emphasis on alleged."
