"A few months ago, I was involved in a hit and run accident where I was the only one who stayed at the scene and I ended up being charged with DUI/DWI and 3 other charges. My car was totaled, my security clearance was in jeopardy and so was my license. The officers involved in the case did not carry out their procedures in a way I felt was legal or ethical, but I still felt defeated. Completely lost and listless, I began searching for attorneys to help me get the best possible outcome. The incident happened on a friday night, I was making calls by Saturday afternoon and on Sunday morning I received a call back from Alpert Schreyer law attorney Jason Miller. Jason was very informative about what my options were and what our potential courses of action could be. His knowledge helped calm some of the initial nerves and anxiety I was having. I had reached out to about 4 or 5 other attorneys but after talking with Jason and reading the reviews for Alpert Schreyer, I felt like I would be a fool not to have them represent me. After deciding to go with Alpert Schreyer, I was given a list of case mitigation work to begin doing to put me in the best possible position for court. The list was long and it seemed a bit daunting, but one by one I checked everything off of the list. Throughout the entire process, the communication, availability, organization and thoroughness of the entire team (the attorneys: Jason Miller and Andrew Alpert as well as the paralegals: Nikkolas Jacobs and Matthew Otero) was nothing short of amazing. The paralegal team constantly kept me in the loop with any updates and handled documenting all of my paperwork throughout the process flawlessly. There was not one single time where I didn’t receive a same-day response from anyone on the team from any inquiry I ever made. I cannot emphasize enough how important the organization and communication of the team at Alpert Schreyer was for both my mental state as well as the progression/handling of my case. Additionally, the legal team requested complete discovery of ALL of the evidence the state had. I am not sure if other attorneys do this but when I was in court, NO ONE else was prepared with bodycam footage and copies of all of the police documents like we were. Fast forward to the court date, Andrew Alpert was the one representing me. I saw countless other defendants in court with other attorneys who did not seem nearly as prepared as Mr. Alpert. The majority of the other people in the district court the day I was there were receiving probation, jail time, court-mandated classes, fines, etc. I had already completed just about everything that the judge was mandating for those found guilty (alcohol education courses, MADD victim impact panel, driver improvement course, etc.), so right off the bat I knew Jason and Andrew had set me up for success. Andrew came to court completely prepared, so prepared in fact that he had written an 8 PAGE motion to suppress evidence. Andrew came to court so ready with my defense that ALL CRIMINAL CHARGES were dropped. The case he had built was so strong that the state didn’t even want to take the case in front of the judge. I came out of a situation that could’ve potentially ruined my life, with nothing but a simple traffic infraction (and even that was a PBJ). I had been told that it is easier to get off for murder than it is a DUI. However Andrew Alpert, Jason Miller and the entire Alpert Schreyer team made sure that did not happen and I cannot put into words how grateful and appreciative I am of them. You have to do the work to help them help you. If you do everything they ask, I guarantee your outcome will be more favorable than you have ever imagined. These people have a genuine interest in defending you and helping you to get the best possible outcome, they take it personally. I have nothing but good things to say about Alpert Schreyer and I am inexplicably appreciative of the work they did for me. 10/10 would recommend them to anyone I know for any DUI situation!"
