About:
The Brown Law Offices, P.A., is a northwest Twin Cities divorce and family law firm. We serve primarily Hennepin, Anoka, Sherburne and Wright County. In addition to divorce, our lawyers handle custody, child support, alimony, paternity, prenuptial agreements, step-parent adoptions, harassment restraining orders and cases involving domestic abuse. Jason Brown founded the Brown Law Offices, P.A., in 2003, after clerking for the (now retired) Chief Judge of Minnesota’s Tenth Judicial District. He is an experienced trial lawyer, who handled a wide variety of cases (including civil commitment, criminal defense, probate, personal injury and commercial litigation) early in his career. Today, Jason’s practice is dedicated almost exclusively to divorce and family law matters. He has successfully litigated against some of the more recognized family law attorneys in the Twin Cities. Jason is the former chairperson of the Family Law Section of the Minnesota Trial Lawyer’s Association, and taught divorce and family law coursework within the paralegal program at North Hennepin Community College. He publishes the Minnesota Family Law Blog, which has been recognized as a “Top 25? by the Minnesota State Bar Association. Local media appearances by Jason include WCCO Radio, KARE 11 Television, Fox 9 Television and WCCO Television. His national media appearances include NBC News, Time Magazine, USA Today and the Huffington Post. Jason obtained his B.S., magna cum laude, from Minnesota State University, Mankato, and his J.D., cum laude, from the William Mitchell College of Law in St. Paul. While in law school Jason was a published staff writer and associate editor for the William Mitchell Law Review. Outside of the office, Jason plays the bass guitar and serves on the Board of Directors at Northgate Church. He and his wife, Cynthia, also an attorney, have two boys.

"Due to the garage door sensors being broken at my location and the door hitting my car, I had to pay for damages to the garage door.(their response was someone should have told me to wait and it has happened before) 2 months later and numerous attempts fo contact them, they still havent reflected my payment and still have it on my statement as a late payment. This company is unresponsive, unprofessional and disrespectful to their tenants."

"They don't respond and are the worst property management I've ever worked with. Please, search for another company."

"It should be possible to give ZERO stars. Rowcal is the single worst management company I’ve dealt with in nearly 30 years of real estate experience. They seem to pride themselves on being as useless as possible, and when you try and explain what information is being sought…they hang up on you."

"Infinitely helpful. My manager Tracie Kaupman takes care of so many things, I can relax knowing she is on top of it. As a newbie to HOA membership, I am always nervous that I am missing something, or that I don't know what to do, but she always helps out and knows what's going on. I'm very pleased with this service."

"RowCal Our association joined RowCal December 2022. Some things have gotten better (tree maintenance) and many have gotten worse (snow plowing, lawn care and pool). Response to any issue is done with auto ticket creation followed by an email that it is being forwarded to community association manager. This is where it usually sits and dies. No response no updates and no resolution to the issue. Last year the pool opened a week late and this year it is almost July and is still closed. The lawn behind my unit is almost non existent (have sent pictures to RowCal) and no work has been done to restore it yet the lawn service weekly mows dirt and stones. If you are considering RowCal visit Cedar Bluff Townhomes in Eagan MN before deciding The reply I received on here is typical. The association and location of our townhomes are listed in the review as are all the issues I have raised. You have access to all emails exchanged so there is no need for me to restate them. Just know if you are considering RowCal this is typical"
