"First of all, I don’t know “Mr Jansen’s” first name because he introduces himself to other adults as Mr. Jansen. Weird. Secondly, he told my sister and I we were the reason our father committed suicide in jail because we inquired about the retainer. He met my dad on Wednesday and he died in the wee hours of Friday morning. So, “Mr. Jansen” does not care about ethical standing when entering an agreement when representing someone that is not competent. The Florida Bar may have another view point outside of “Mr Jansen.” My message here is be aware of entering an agreement with “Mr Jansen” because he doesn’t even want to discuss returning a retainer within scope of his OWN agreement."
