About:

I have been practicing family law for 30 years, focusing on resolving complex family matters efficiently and cost-effectively. As a certified mediator and parent coordinator, I assist families in navigating disputes without prolonged litigation. I serve as a panelist for the Family Law Early Settlement Programs in Morris, Somerset, Essex, and Union counties. I am a member of the Barry I. Croland Inn of Court, the first teaching Inn of Court in the United States, and have served on the Family Law Executive Committee of the New Jersey State Bar Association. Additionally, I am an active member of the New Jersey Association of Professional Mediators and the Morris County Bar Association, where I co-chaired the Family Law Section and previously served on the Executive Committee. My peers and former clients recognize my problem-solving skills. I receive referrals from opposing attorneys, therapists, and professionals who trust my ability to reach fair resolutions. Clients appreciate my practical approach, clear communication, and focus on minimizing conflict. In my practice, I provide straightforward advice and help clients make informed decisions. When settlement is not possible, I am a strong advocate in court, ensuring my clients’ rights and interests are protected. I have lectured on family law topics and moderated professional seminars. I also provided pro bono legal services to victims of domestic violence through organizations such as JBWS and Partners for Women and Justice.

"Review for Mr. McGlew and His Legal Team Going through a divorce is never easy, but mine lasted a while and came with more emotional and legal challenges than I could have imagined. I often referred to my case as “Wait! There’s more!” because of how endlessly complicated it became—not due to Mr. McGlew or his firm, but because of the difficult circumstances and the other party involved. Throughout it all, Mr. McGlew was a steady, compassionate, and incredibly skilled presence in my life. He was patient, kind, and attentive, always taking the time to listen and offer sound, thoughtful advice. He never made me feel like a case number. Instead, he treated me with dignity, respect, and genuine care. On the days I felt like giving up, he gave me hope. When I became ill during the process, he went out of his way to check on me—not just as a client, but as a human being. Mr. McGlew fought for me during one of the lowest points in my life. His experience and calm, reassuring guidance helped me navigate the many twists and turns of a long and painful journey. I am incredibly grateful to have had him by my side and highly recommend him to anyone in need of a strong, compassionate, and truly dedicated attorney."

"The legal team at Lindabury, McCormick, Estabrook & Cooper, P.C., specifically attorney David Tawil, were very helpful and supportive during my divorce. David was patient and worked with me for over two years to get my divorce finalized (a delay not caused on our end). Thank you, David!"

"Nicole Kobis has been a life saver. She has been my lawyer since March 2023 assisting me through the entire divorce process from start to finish. She is calm, confident, honest and reassuring under stressful circumstances. I found the firm and her paralegal to be organized and helpful. Still now years later she is helping to protect my interests and fight to uphold the integrity of my martial settlement agreement."

"Asked to take on a wage and hour case that the owner admitted not paying the right hourly rate or overtime and I was told it was too hard to take. I wonder what they do take. Must be just settlements out of court. Because I can't see them being any good in court if they can't take a did you pay a person or not. And that comes from a relative of one of the owners of the firm so sad."
