Jamie grew up in Lake Orion, Michigan, where her office is located. She is a divorced mother of four children: Trevor, Emily, Ben and Everly. She is also a part of the special needs community, as her youngest has Down Syndrome. She has both the personal and legal experience to help you expertly navigate your legal needs. Jamie is a proud graduate of Oakland University and Western Michigan University Thomas M. Cooley Law School, where she graduated Cum Laude in 2012, receiving the prestigious Certificate of Merit in Family Law and Trial Skills. She interned with the Lake Shore Legal Aid Family Law Assistance Project helping low-income families and victims of domestic violence, as well as interned with the Macomb County Prosecutors office. Throughout law school she worked as a student attorney with a local criminal defense lawyer and then later obtained a position as senior associate attorney with The Law Firm of Victoria for nearly five years and two years at the Friedman Law Firm, before she started her own firm in 2020. She has received the distinguished Super Lawyers Rising Star award for the past five years and received the Top 10 under 40 award for excellence in the field of Family Law from the National Academy of Family Law Attorneys. In her personal life, Jamie enjoys her family, outdoor adventures, rescuing animals and gardening.
