"- my ex wants to change the separation date - I have the zoom meeting with James and his team - James reviews my docs, my records from my previous attorney to understand my case - James doesn't take my deposit then assign my case to his team member - James and his team prepare FL-150, FL-160 details, carefully - James calls me, works with me to prepare for the first conference with Family Court Settlement Officer - James represents me in the conference - after the first conference, my ex terminates her attorney, then negotiates - James prepares the doc to finalize the case - The doc complies with the Family Code to ensure that my ex cannot challenge it later - It takes James about 6 months to finalize my case, to get the stamped judgement documents - James emails me all the docs for records"

"Avoid at all costs—he is completely useless; it was a terrible experience, very unprofessional, and unhelpful. I regret ever hiring James Chau. Not only did he do absolutely nothing in court—just sat there and collected his fee—but when he did ask questions about my case, it felt more like an attack than legal guidance.
