"I am editing my review because the lawyers office did send me a refund for the money that they had received which I believe is honorable. But, I still encourage you to be wary if you have a more complex claim or want an office with a much more progressive approach. I cannot honestly say they would be a good fit for you if that is the case- -------------------------------------------------------------- I am kicking myself for not reading the reviews in full for this place. I have a very long and stressful workmans comp claim and anytime I suggested or asked for anything above the bare minimum, I was given excuse after excuse instead of practical action. I actually feel a bit gaslit if you can believe that. I cried to them on the phone how I felt depressed and why I wanted that/ needed that to be added to my claim, and I kept being groomed to accept that this was going to be pretty impossible instead of just doing what needed to be done. Essentially, if just want an office to do the bare minimum and take the case off your hands, this will work for you. If you want someone with a shark-type mindset who’s willing to get you a substantial award, this is not the office for you. Don’t let them take 30% (the standard) of any award you might receive and deserve. I really feel he wanted to scathe by and do the least amount of work possible, and take money from me that I would have gotten with or without their help. Absolutely not. Also, the lawyer is essentially non existent in the process even though he claims to be “always available”. I edited to add his paralegals are very available and actually very helpful in terms of timely responses, but I hired a lawyer expecting him to be more involved. The first day I spoke with him was the day I terminated my contract with them. Peter really should not have taken my case in the first place if he did not think he could get me the award I asked for from the beginning introduction. My honest advice for someone going through L&I is to make sure you’re hiring someone that’s for you, and not someone who’s willing to just take your money because they hope you don’t know any better. Hey y’all if you’re reading this, which I hope you do, do better."

"If I could leave zero stars, I absolutely would. Our experience with this law office was, without question, one of the most frustrating and unprofessional encounters we’ve ever had. The communication was abysmal from the beginning, and the overall management of our case reflected a serious lack of organization and accountability. Throughout the duration of our case, we made repeated efforts to speak directly with our attorney not an assistant or paralegal — but were consistently met with silence. Despite having legitimate and time-sensitive legal concerns, Kathryn Eyraud failed to return calls or respond to emails. When we did finally hear from someone, it was typically a staff member who seemed just as confused about our case as we were. What should have been straightforward communication turned into a constant back-and-forth with intermediaries, which resulted in unnecessary delays, miscommunications, and, of course, extra charges. We were billed for numerous fragmented phone calls/emails all of which could have been resolved in a single conversation had we been allowed direct access to our attorney. Even more frustrating was the itemized breakdown of charges, which revealed we were being billed significant amounts for what appeared to be basic administrative tasks including Kathryn copying and pasting the content that we had written ourselves. It was clear that the billing process was neither transparent nor in line with the original expectations we had agreed upon. Then, after a year and a half of complete silence from the firm no communication, no updates, no invoices we were suddenly blindsided with an astronomical bill, which included late fees. This was especially infuriating given that our efforts to communicate with the firm during that time had gone unanswered. It is beyond unreasonable to impose late fees when the firm itself failed to maintain even the most basic standards of follow-up or transparency. Despite multiple attempts to speak with someone in leadership or even get a basic explanation our requests for a phone call were completely ignored. Yet somehow, Kathryn Eyraud found the time to email us to demand payment. It’s incredibly telling that communication was impossible when we needed legal guidance, but suddenly urgent and persistent when money was involved. This experience has been both disheartening and exhausting. What should have been a supportive, client-focused legal process felt more like a disorganized billing operation. The entire approach lacked integrity and professionalism. If you’re considering hiring this law firm, I strongly urge you to reconsider. And if you do proceed, avoid working with Kathryn Eyraud. Our experience with her was marked by lack of communication, disorganization, and a disregard for the client’s experience. The firm’s billing practices especially the retroactive and inflated charges are, in our opinion, not only unethical but predatory. Legal matters are stressful enough on their own. Having to chase down your own attorney and then face a surprise bill after more than a year of neglect is simply unacceptable. This was a nightmare from start to finish, and we would not recommend this office to anyone."
