"Used Miriam for a family law dispute. She was the perfect choice - very knowledgeable about NY family law, direct and to the point, optimistic but not overly optimistic. We ultimately settled the matter on favorable terms. Thanks Miriam!"

"I am speaking from personal experience from hiving Ira be an opposition council in my divorce. I can't say he ever had his client's my ex husband's best interest at heart because he condoned his client's lies many times during the 2 years we are in courts which was only in my best interest, it was fantastic to see the judge put him in his place several times. What struck me the most is the complete disrespect towards me. I didn't do anything to him or his client. I didn't lie, didn't scheme, didn't harass, didn't threatened, didn't misrepresent, didn't shift blame, was not passive aggressive, was not disrespectful, presented all documents immediately on request, did not argue with him in court unlike his client. Ira reflected onto me everything his client was doing during this incredibly difficult divorce over 2 year period of time. Ira mentally and emotionally abused me every chance he got, In every opposition statement i was openly blamed for all deadly sins and his client was and innocent victim which is his life position, nothing is ever his fault, even when he's lying and stealing it's always others to blame! Also lucky for me cause the judge saw right through him. I mean it's fun to see them squirm every time the judge ruled in my favor specifically because his client is absolutely unruly liar and we've proven with hard evidence every lie and every misconduct! But the demeaner, cruelty and disrespect with which Ira spoke to me and about me is disgusting and ridiculous! He didn't only disrespect me as a human been and a woman, but he also disrespected himself and his client by allowing all the lies, knowing that they are lies and being scolded in court over 2 years. My attorney cared enough to never ever behave disrespectfully or blame his client without having evidence In my opinion Ira can care less about outcome of the case, win or lose makes him money, nothing else matters. it's in his favor to allow his clients to be whatever they wants and lie as much as they wants, forcing having to take them back to court numerous times , keep ignoring all negotiation, all the stipulations for as long as possible which is great money making scheme. The longer his client is being difficult the more money Ira makes. All I want to say is that opposing counsel does not have to be, and I'll refrain from saying the actual word, like Ira Treuhaft. Name Treuhaft means honest and truthful, so please live up to your name! Respect yourself and your clients enough to be respectful to everyone even opposition!"
