He has extensive courtroom and trial experience, and currently serves as a court-appointed Guardian ad Litem in family court and as a Warning Order Attorney for the Jefferson Circuit Court. After growing up in South Carolina, Hugh lived and worked in Maine, Vermont, Seattle and Alabama before settling in Washington, D.C., where he worked as an attorney in several law firms and nongovernmental organizations. Now based in Louisville, Louisville Magazine recently recognized him as one of Kentucky’s “Top Lawyers” while the National Trial Lawyers deemed him among the Top 40 Trial Lawyers Under 40. Hugh earned his J.D. from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University, alongside an LL.M. from the University of Washington School of Law, an M.S. from Samford University and a Bachelor’s degree from Auburn University. "My husband and I both see Dr. Dillingham as our primary care doctor. Each time we have met with him he listens to our concerns, reads through our history, does a medical exam, makes the appropriate diagnosis, and explains his plan of action. He does all this while chatting and making us feel "seen" and important."

"The office is a mess. They've screwed up our paperwork, take a week or longer to respond to messages, and scheduled appointments wrong. We've also had to sit in the waiting room multiple times for over 20 minutes. The final straw was that it took over 2 weeks to complete and fax a form my son needed to start OT. This delayed him getting the help he needed and caused extra stress. I had to call multiple times to even get this done. I highly do NOT recommend seeing anyone in this practice."
