About:
Hayley Potts was born in Yeovil, a small town in southwest England. Before moving to the United States, Hayley graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University Law School with honors in 2010, and became a licensed barrister in the U.K. While in England, Hayley worked with both barristers who worked in the criminal sector and with solicitors in drafting commercial leases, wills and land registration. In September, 2010, Hayley moved to Oklahoma City as part of a pro bono exchange program called Amicus, where English law graduates assist in American capital defense teams. Hayley was placed in the Oklahoma County Public Defenders Office where she worked as an investigator, assisting attorneys on numerous death penalty cases. In August 2011, Hayley began attending Oklahoma City University School of Law to cross-qualify her as an attorney in Oklahoma and has received the Cali Excellence for the Future Award for Legal Profession. She recently completed an expedited course schedule which essentially converted her U.K. legal license to an American bar license, enabling her to practice in both countries. Her fast-track legal education enabled her to take the full courses required for her Juris Doctor in only two years, rather than the required three years of study, which she received in May 2013. Hayley worked as a Licensed Legal Intern at M.K. Bailey Law Offices, assisting with both criminal and civil litigation. Hayley recently passed the Oklahoma State Bar examination, and her primary areas of expertise are criminal law, family law, and international law. Hayley is also an accomplished Netball athlete, and when she has spare time, she likes to spend it working out, playing sports, and keeping active. She visits her mother, father and brother in England as often as possible. View More ›
DVLawyers AI Summary:
Montgomery Law Firm, led by Blake Montgomery, is dedicated to providing compassionate and effective legal representation for personal injury cases in Southwest Arkansas. With a focus on personal injury law, the firm handles a variety of cases, including automobile accidents, 18-wheeler wrecks, and slip and fall incidents. Their primary mission is to help individuals who have been harmed due to the negligence of others, allowing clients to focus on their recovery while the firm takes care of the legal complexities. The tone of the firm is approachable and empathetic, aimed at making clients feel understood and supported during a challenging time. Blake Montgomery is deeply rooted in the local community, emphasizing a personal touch in every case. He strives to treat clients as family, ensuring they feel comfortable and valued throughout the legal process. The firm operates on a contingency fee basis, meaning that clients are not required to pay unless they receive compensation, which alleviates some financial stress often associated with legal proceedings. For survivors of domestic abuse who may also be dealing with personal injury claims, Montgomery Law Firm could provide a supportive environment. While they primarily focus on personal injury rather than domestic violence specifically, their empathetic approach may resonate well with those who have experienced trauma. Clients can expect transparency and a clear outline of the legal process, helping to demystify what may feel like an overwhelming situation. If you are seeking assistance with personal injury matters, this firm may be a suitable choice, especially if you value a local attorney who prioritizes a personal connection and understands the unique struggles faced by individuals in Southwest Arkansas. However, for those needing specialized support in domestic violence issues, it may be prudent to seek a firm that specifically addresses those legal needs.

"The whole law firm was very cordial and professional. Mr. Montgomery was a great lawyer to have. My only regret is that I didn’t know about him before I went with my original counsel. My original counsel referred me to him because they didn’t feel like they could get the right outcome that Mr. Montgomery pursued and was confident from the beginning he could obtain. If I have to seek legal counsel in the future he will be my first choice!"
