About:
Gregory B. Smith can relate to just about anybody. Not only has he handled more cases that just about any other attorney is Utah, he has trained over 40 attorneys, including some of the best criminal defense attorneys in Utah. Attorney Smith graduated from Columbine High School in Colorado as class president way back in 1982, and was selected to first team all state in football. He was then given a football scholarship to play for the Y under LaVell Edwards (while a missionary in Argentina in 1984, his Cougars won the national championship). However, most of his kids have attended the U, so he loves everybody in Utah. Greg has practiced law for more than 25 years, and has gotten countless criminal charges for people dismissed, made sure many employees got properly paid, and helped many people get out of debt (he's filed over 1,800 bankruptcies). When he got out of law school, attorney Smith worked in a prosecutor's office in South Texas, and prosecuted cases under the "third year practice" rule. Attorney Smith missed Utah, so decided to come back home. Greg Smith has put on lectures for other attorneys, and has always been an attorney that his client could rely on and afford. He started one of Utah's first low-cost law firms back in the early 1990s. He would love to talk to you about your case.

"I spoke to Greg briefly over the phone, he was super nice, helpful, and best of all he had a sense of humour. It made me feel extremely relieved to find a competent, friendly attorney. We spoke briefly for 5 minutes and told me to call back the following day as he was swamped with work, which I totally understand. Unfortunately, he is absolutely impossible to get ahold of - after calling dozens of times, leaving texts, and sending emails to try and hire him as my attorney, I am unable to reach him. I spoke with both Dennis and his assistant Patrick, but any attempt to communicate with Greg goes unanswered. Patrick assured me that he would check the email and keep me updated, however it has been several days that I have tried to call, text and email but I am simply left on read. It’s frustrating because Greg really gave me the impression of being a knowledgeable and genuine individual, and I felt reassured when he initially spoke to me about my case… unfortunately, it seems like the only way to get a response is by leaving a Google review. It is not my intention to come off entitled either - lawyers have dozens of cases at any given time and it would be unreasonable to expect a response or any attention to my case when I am not already a client. However, not receiving a reply and being left on read when you are trying to become a client or schedule a formal consultation is unprofessional and disorganized."

"Great team here. From contract review to in-court representation, this team has you covered. Patrick in particular (one of the associates); THANK YOU for effectively triaging my issue and getting me the same-day help this matter required. I did not use trial services, because we avoided that - THANK YOU Greg! Greg is your deeply experienced, welcome you into his “living room” style office kind of guy. Call them, you’re good."

"Ahh, come on Greg, no need talking "capital letters" to me. I'm just stating the fact, no need to get mad. You were lazy enough (or whatever reason) not to call the only official department that can confirm weather you have a case or not: a well known DMV. Instead, you were quick enough to send a "time sensitive" threatening letter, giving me 10 days to respond. You guys messed up and you know it. Just admit it and say "sorry". Charging your customers fees, building a hollow case and not doing a basic homework is embarrassing."
