"I hired/retained Gary Barton for divorce proceedings. We had a petition hearing that following week. He sends the Attorney from his firm that will be helping me. She is running 30 mins late for appointment she set with me prior to hearing. She shows up with rollers in hair, shoes in the trunk and looks 18 years old. We step into court room 1 min before hearing, she is not prepared and has not even completed the counter petition. I am wondering why we not asking for reset if Not prepared. The judge allows the Atty to discuss, and she is gone for one hour. She comes back in courtroom and tells Ballif they are ready. She discusses absolutely nothing we me that she agreed upon. There were several things she agrees upon on my behalf without my consent. I had to speak up and tell the judge what my issue was since she did not discuss with me. After the hearing she ask me " why didn't you tell me about bla bla" I told her are you serious? I took 4 hours completing your intake with all my information there. This told me she did not even view my intake before showing up to court.  WOW How unprofessional. I asked for a call back from Gary to discuss a specific law. I was told he could call be back until next month. I was dumb founded. Then they wanted to collect more money another 3k from me to get on this call back list. No way I was giving them another dime. Crooks, they were fired, and I retained a New Attorney. The saddest thing was Gary had an opportunity to call me answer my email and he did neither. Then when he was fired, I told him call me and I'll explain why or he can read in review. I guess he does not care enough about his business to address real issues."
