Eric was born and raised in Green Bay, WI. After high school, Eric enlisted in the U.S. Army as a Linguist in the Military Intelligence Corps. He attended the world-renowned Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center, Presidio of Monterey, CA, graduating with degrees in the Russian and Spanish courses. After tours of duty in Germany and San Antonio, TX, Eric was honorably discharged after 8 years of service, attaining the rank of Sergeant (E-5). After his Army service, Eric attended Angelo State University, San Angelo, TX, receiving a full academic scholarship and graduating with a B.A. in Government (Cum Laude) with a Spanish Minor. After college, Eric attended Monterey College of Law, graduating with a Doctorate of Jurisprudence degree (J.D.). After law school, Eric passed the California Bar Exam and has since worked in diverse areas of the law, including Legal Aid for Senior Citizens, Insurance Defense Litigation, Estate Planning and Criminal Defense. Eric is now in private practice in Pacific Grove, CA. He is licensed to practice law in all state courts in California as well as the Northern Federal District of California. Eric remains proficient in the Spanish and Russian languages. In his spare time, Eric coaches high school football at Pacific Grove High School. He is also heavily engaged in volunteer activities, particularly involving veterans causes, serving as the Judge Advocate Officer at American Legion Post 41, Monterey, CA and the Monterey County Homeless Veterans Stand Down as a volunteer attorney. Eric also volunteers each year at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am golf tournament. He enjoys, golf, hiking and is an avid sports fan. Eric is also a volunteer coach for Pacific Grove Pony Baseball.
