"Stop all the lying you raise my property tax $160 every 6 months that sounds like a lot more than 3% this sounds like robbery to me there needs to be a little bit more oversight on these property taxes because all you're doing is taxing people out of their property you keep doing this you're not going to have anybody to tax because everybody's going to leave and go somewhere else because everybody will leave Blackhawk County because it's overpriced anyway look at the crossroads area does that answer your question what high rent and high taxes due"

"Bought a property that was on the open market in April of 2020 for 14K . Just received my new assessment for 2021. Magically property is now worth 61,000 according to the Blackhawk County assessors office. This house is stripped on the inside not even a working bathroom let alone a kitchen or conforming bedroom. I was told told file a petition because she has a formula she goes by. So I call on a property appraiser to give me an educated opinion of the current value which he only came up with the value of 23,000 which is pretty close to the evaluation of the progress to revive this property . Can't even begin to say how disappointed I am with this lady's uneducated opinion. Only a difference of 38,000 and I should have to pay 450 dollars for an appraisal to defend this . I think maybe they should evaluate people's property a little bit better"

"The public we site access to data is 30 years old, slow and not sufficient for research purposes to determine if our assessed values are ok."
