About:

Ecleynne Mercy is a proud graduate of Howard University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a graduate of Western Michigan University Cooley Law School with a concentration in Litigation. Ecleynne started her legal career as an indigent defense attorney in Clayton County. Later, as an associate with the Cochran Firm, Ecleynne was devoted in representing clients in their pursuit of Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) and Supplemental Security Income (SSI). Ecleynne Mercy and her colleagues went to Ferguson, Missouri to act as legal observers for the ongoing protests involving the death of Michael Brown. The National Conference of Black Lawyers requested these lawyers go to Ferguson to work with the National Lawyers Guild (NLG) to observe and ensure protestors’ constitutional rights are not being infringed on by the militarized police forces and National Guard. Mercy Law P.C. is a law firm dedicated to serving the people of Georgia. It is her goal to provide the highest caliber of legal representation to her clients. She does this by listening to her clients' needs, properly educating clients on the law, and fighting zealously to uphold the rights of all her clients. Ecleynne now trains other attorneys and law students to become legal observers. She also conducts Know Your Rights Seminars all over Georgia to inform citizens of their constitutional rights when dealing with law enforcement.

"When I first began this journey back in June, I was overwhelmed, scared, and honestly, disappointed with how things were going. I didn’t feel supported. I didn’t feel heard. I questioned whether I had the right attorney for what I was facing. That all changed the moment I was assigned to Diamond Alexander. From the first conversation, Diamond gave me something I hadn’t had in this process — peace of mind. She listened to me. She cared. She reassured me that I wasn’t alone and that she would see this through with me until the very end. For the first time, I felt like someone truly had my back — not just as a client, but as a mother fighting for what’s best for her child. Diamond is more than just a professional — she is intentional, prepared, and passionate. She didn’t just represent me, she stood for me. She took the time to understand what I was asking for and made sure I understood every step of the process. She didn’t rush me. She didn’t talk over me. She made me feel like my voice mattered. Today, I walked into court full of fear and uncertainty — and I walked out with full primary custody of my child, child support granted, and most importantly, a sense of relief and justice. Everything I prayed for, everything I hoped for — Diamond helped make it happen. If you’re a parent going through family court, if you’re confused, scared, or just need someone who will fight with integrity and heart — I cannot recommend Diamond Alexander enough. She changed everything for me. And I will forever be grateful for her. She is the best thing to happen to Atlanta family law — hands down. Your client-Tajanea 💕"

"I wanted to take a moment to recognize an outstanding employee in your intake department, Denzel. He was calm, patient, personable, and very informative. He did an excellent job of sharing Attorney Coleman’s Background and passion for family law, As well as his own relatable experience Which made the interaction field, both sincere and engaging. My initial reason for reaching out was to inquire about limited legal services, specifically Drafting documents I intend to file With the court as a pro se Litigant. While I haven’t yet decided whether I’m going to move forward with the consultation fee, I felt it was important to acknowledge The professionalism and warmth that your employee Denzel Displayed during our call. He is an asset to your law firm!"
