"I HIGHLY recommend Doug to anyone needing representation for child custody/divorce! Doug was very easy to work with and was always well-prepared for whatever my case required. Doug does not see a case as a number, he sees the child and the family and represents them through their toughest times. He was 100% honest and thorough in everything he did, and I cant recommend him enough."

"I found myself in two vary complicated custody cases and Mr Houston absolutely knocked it out of the park and worked hard to protect my daughter! He's rough around the edges sure, but with that being said when you walk into court you need a team mate that works law with a ball of fire in his pocket and not afraid to be frank and direct with you. Mr Houston isn't the man you want, he's the man you NEED on your team!"

"Beware!!!!! This man will take your money and still drop you as a client. He is lazy and will do the less than the bare minimum to help your case. No empathy or compassion for what his clients are going through. He is all about the money!!! After we paid him in full he then said he would not continue represent us anymore. Leaving us with no representation in the middle of a nasty divorce and custody battle. Save your coin and time for lawyer that is a least competent and does the work."

"I was absolutely astonished by the rudeness and lack of empathy from someone who is supposed to be a professional and beyond my side if they represent me. That lawyer At first said flat out, I’m not gonna take your case. Then he changed his mind and said wanted to charge me $2000 extra dollars for the retainer plus extra money hourly there just because I was going through a domestic violence relationship and just because he felt like it was going to be a complicated case. Not only that but he said “what kind of mother are you?” (To have been stuck in an abusive relationship), “have you gotten a mental evaluation lately?” “The more I learn about you the more I understand why other lawyers won’t take your case” he also asked Intimate details of my trauma which was totally irrelevant to the context. You do not ask somebody what happened to cause PTSD!!! I felt like I was totally in the twilight zone. Do not fall for his shock and awe attempts at manipulation to get you to pay more money to him for him to mistreat you and not even be on your side if he’s gonna be your lawyer!"
