"I got in some steep trouble for my first time ever. Dorie was recommended to my sister. After reading some reviews and contacting her, we hired her immediately. I had 2 connected cases in 2 counties. The entire process took just under 10 months (we had some stubborn prosecutors) Through those months, Dorie was extremely patient. She explained everything every step of the way. Not only to me but my parents as well. Fear through this process was an understatement. Dorie helped calm those nerves with her own legal experience. Breaking down where we were, what we were aiming for, and where the prosecution was as well. She pulled no bs. She was upfront and honest on what this could be. But calmed me by assuring me she would do the best she could. AND SHE DID. With the prosecution offering me the same offer in both counties, I was looking at 16 years total with a possible 12 in DOC. We walked out of there with our heads high as one case ended up with a total of 12 months time served and the other was 2 1/2 before time cuts and such. My total incarceration on this was roughly 22 months. Which is amazing considering the possibility. My suggestion, hire her, be honest with her, and trust her legal expertise.
