Hamilton graduated from The George Washington University National Law Center. As a law student, she interned at the Circuit Court for Baltimore City. After graduation, she was a Judicial Law Clerk to The Honorable William B. Spellbring, Jr. at the Circuit Court for Prince George’s County. Her practice focuses on family law, including divorce, custody, child support, alimony and property division and criminal law. She is admitted to practice in Maryland and the District of Columbia. She, is an avid runner and traveler. She has visited and/or lived in France, England, Holland, Scotland, Canada, Sierra Leone, Nigeria, Togo and Ivory Coast. She also enjoys reading and just recently started Tae Kwon Do.

"If you are a dad fighting for custody of your child do NOT hire this woman. She helped out the other side more than she helped me. I wasted thousands of dollars and if anything Dontrice only made getting custody more difficult. I should’ve left this review a long time ago"

"I helped someone by offering her a job which led to her making excessive attempts to befriend me. I did not reciprocate, causing her to have intense animosity towards me. She illegally obtained a picture of me and wrote derogatory words on it, and used it to file a false peace order against me. During this time, I had lost my father and brother in the span of two weeks, and my late husband was extremely sick. Due to these circumstances, I was not able to make it to court. I got an attorney who didn’t help me— it was just a waste. Because of this, she was granted the peace order. After six years, out of nowhere during a tumultuous time of my life, this person filed another false peace order against me despite there being no form of contact between us. I went for a hearing but the judge believed her lies and she was granted again. I was devastated and decided to appeal. I was referred to Ms. Hamilton. 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ is not enough to rate her professionalism. She fought so hard for me and I didn’t even have to talk in court. My accuser’s lies caught up to her and Ms. Hamilton was able to defend and represent me extremely well. Despite my case being ambiguous and difficult to win because of the aforementioned circumstances, Ms. Hamilton still defended me and we won. Please, have an open mind and heart and let Ms. Hamilton handle your case. She will fight hard for you to win your case and support you like no other. This is my testimony and to God be the glory. "WARNING do not hire, she cares about money and once lost her license. She fail me miserably. Didn't even care about the outcome. She one of them care for money type lawyers. To save u time to hire her and be a fool like I did wasting my time."
