"Very upset with his service i hired them Dmitry to help my husband he got DUI never been on prison before.he got the worst deal im writing this because of one purpose.i don't want other people get the bad experience i got with him he does not know how to fight a DUI case and he knows what I'm talking about when my husband got the 2 nd dui case resolve himself .and im not scared talking and telling my experience only because his a laywer.i don't recommend him at all."

"I had a very bad experience w/Gurovich & Berk law partners. They basically stole my money (deposit) that they requested to represent me for a ludicrous situation that they knew would play itself out. It was right before Covid started this whole bogus complaint was filed by my schizophrenic uncle. He accused me of stealing his money, and Berk unfortunately represented me. He was mostly late in showing up in court, he never provided a summary to the attorney representing the DA’s office, failing to spell out the circumstances & that my schizophrenic uncle convinced some unprofessional sheriff’s deputy that I had stolen money from him. Had Berk made it known that my uncle was an old man who accused everyone of stealing his money, who suffered from dementia & was a life long schizophrenic, the case most likely would’ve been dismissed immediately. He failed to prove himself capable of talking to this hot shot female attorney, month after month, doing nothing to exonerate me of any wrongdoing. It wasn’t until my uncle & his caregiver, myself & my family were altogether in court, when the caregiver informed the court’s attorney my uncle was “a schizophrenic who had a history of unstable behavior who had good days & bad, and that his family was very supportive of him.” She was astonished to learn this info & then realized it was a waste of her time. Right after that meeting, the court dismissed my case. That was after 6 months of frustrating, unwarranted, nerve wracking, monthly court appearances. I never received a bill showing any accounting of Berk’s billable hours, I begged him for it, nothing. He just went awol, never saying anything about refunding my deposit, which they both agreed they’d do if they didn’t utilize or justify my $9500 deposit! He never wrote a summary for the attorney/court, he was never prepared, I provided every copy that was requested from the court, he was late many times because he double booked himself having to appear at another court nearby, or in another court room in the same building, at least 2-3 times, making him late, and me having to try & find him because the attorney was annoyed that she had to wait for him to show up….Overall, it was the worst experience of my life. They knew what they were doing. They knew the case would be dismissed for lack of evidence or truth of the allegations to begin with. They didn’t respond to text messages efficiently, Berk never called me before any court date, he never had anything to say or contribute to alleviate my stress. They stole the money they demanded to retain the case, they said they’d refund any money that wasn’t justified or billed hours. So they took $9500 for driving to Airport court 5-6 times, to stand before a judge & for me to say,”Not guilty.” I should have used a public defender, I could’ve saved myself a lot of anguish & anxiety, plus the money they never had the decency, nor professionalism to provide me with an accounting & justification of hours Berk actually worked. I’d avoid this dynamic duo of rip off artists, they come off very nice & that they’re going to do everything they can to represent you, but nothing could’ve been further from the truth, which they do not speak at all. They lack INTEGRITY BIG TIME!!!!!"
