About:
Diana Cohn, a partner at Cohn Slater, is a civil litigator and child advocate with extensive experience in family law and divorce cases. In honor of her service to Florida’s families, Cohn has received several of the state’s top family law accolades, including the Children’s Home Society of Florida Family Champion Award and the Excellence in Child Welfare Award. She was also named a Women of Distinction Award finalist by the Girl Scouts of the Florida Panhandle. While serving as Managing Attorney at Children’s Legal Services, Attorney Cohn led the active litigation and prosecution of several hundred legal cases each year. On behalf of the State of Florida, she represented the best interests of Florida’s children in Leon, Jefferson, Wakulla, Gadsden, Franklin, and Liberty counties, protecting their health and safety, and the integrity of families. Attorney Cohn developed Leon County’s Early Childhood Court program. She partnered with the judiciary, community partners and opposing counsel to expedite the timely resolution of ECC cases, crafting statewide best practices along the way. Prior to Children’s Legal Services, she represented clients in family law, civil law, and immigration cases at the Intimate Partner Violence Assistance Clinic (IPVAC). She worked collaboratively on family law issues with social workers, medical professionals, and community-based advocates. Cohn also served as judicial clerk of the Family Law Division in Florida’s Eighth Judicial Circuit, supporting the Honorable Judge Mary Day Coker in family law cases.

"I called on T morning 7/15/25 sw morgan, she told me 1st consult no charge and she would have atty review the information and get back to me, no cb all day, called back on T aft, sw Stephen who took the same msg, called on F 7/18/25 bc nobody had bothered to call me back all week, sw pat and she verified 1st consult was no charge. I started getting text msgs from an unk source who did not reveal themselves to me after I repeatedly asked who I was talking to asking me general questions re why I was calling, told me their hrly rate was $250 and they would send link for first payment and the schedule me for a consult and when I questioned the charge they referred me to Legal Services of N. Fla. Waste of my time!!!"
