She has handled domestic violence issues, in criminal as well as family court, and DUIs and other misdemeanors. Before becoming a lawyer, Deborah worked as a reporter, editor, and manager at small-town newspapers in Montana and California, and at the San Francisco Chronicle and other big city newspapers.
