"I had just got my license reinstated after a year suspension for a DWI. I had a probation revocation hearing for the DWI for not completing a safety driving course and community service and failure to appear. He got me a deal of SES 14 days in jail backup, $500 fine and 80 hours community service. Didn’t explain the SES would cause a conviction of DWI on my record and 12 points which would suspend me another year. Called him multiple times, told me it was a mistake on DOR and to call them. Wasted hours doing that. Called back and he stated it’s hard to tell what points will be assessed because every individual case is different. I was under the impression that I hired him as a lawyer to know my individual case and what would be assessed. Then was told sorry and nothing he could do. Very disappointed, you seemed like a good guy in person but I found out differently. Updated reply: I agree with your response. I was under the impression that my lawyer would understand the law and communicate what accepting a deal could entail. Long story short you didn’t do the ground work as my attorney and I signed something not being told the full ramifications of what I was signing. Thanks for your time. I’d recommend passanise for your legal needs and to make sure you don’t get led astray like I did."
