About:
I am the founding shareholder of Kowalski, Wilson & Vang, LLC. Throughout my career, I have represented clients of diverse financial, ethnic, social, and cultural backgrounds. Experience gained through participation in hundreds of court hearings allows me to serve my clients across the entire spectrum of family issues.. I routinely lecture on family and child-related topics at seminars sponsored by the State Bar of Wisconsin and other legal organizations. For example, in 2010, I was Wisconsin’s representative to the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers Community Property Symposium in Seattle. From 2015 onward, I was named by my peers as a Rising Star and designated Superlawyer by SuperLawyers magazine, a lawyer review publication. I served as an adjunct professor on a variety of legal topics, including family law, criminal law, and legal research. Activity and service in the legal community is also important to me. I served on the board of the State Bar of Wisconsin Children and the Law Section and Family Law Section.

"Everyone worked great with communication and we would have gotten through everything much quicker if the other parties would have been on top of the things that they needed to do. I can say much on price but I got a major portion sent back to me. I would have gotten more if, like I said, the other parties would have cooperated more quickly."

"We worked with Kowalski Family Law in a involuntary termination of parental rights case. Everybody in the office was very professional and responsive. We had several delays during our case because of the pandemic and court system, but we always felt like David was able to convey what we needed to the courts to expedite things as much as he could. We could have went with several other law firms but we have no regrets going with Kowalski’s Family Law. We would work with David’s team again!"
