About:
I am an attorney at Beyer & Lippert in Morganton, North Carolina, representing clients primarily in Burke, Caldwell, and Catawba Counties. I primarily practice criminal defense (felonies, misdemeanors, and traffic violations), family law (custody, child support, divorce, etc.), juvenile law (DJJ/DSS), small claims (evictions, monies owed, etc.), & domestic law (DVPO/50(c), victim representation). I am a Charlotte native who graduated from Elon University School of Law summa cum laude. Prior to law school, I attended Appalachian State University where I received a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. After graduating, I began my legal career as a superior court legal assistant with the Burke, Caldwell, and Catawba County District Attorney’s Office. While contemporaneously working towards my master’s degree in criminology from Arizona State University, I assisted prosecutors with every classification of felony offense within the 36th Prosecutorial District. While in law school, I participated on Elon Law’s Moot Court Board, finishing with a Top 10 Brief in the 2021 Emory Moot Court Competition. In the Summer of 2021, I completed an internship with Chief Justice Paul Newby of the North Carolina Supreme Court. I added federal experience by completing my residency in the Spring of 2022 with Judge Frank D. Whitney, United States District Court Judge for the Western District of North Carolina, before spending the Summer of 2022 with the Mecklenburg County District Attorney’s Office’s Violent Crimes Team. During law school, I was employed as a student clerk to the North Carolina Pattern Jury Instruction Criminal Subcommittee, where I assisted superior court judges in the drafting and revising of Criminal Pattern Jury Instructions based on developments in North Carolina statutory and case law. I also participated in the Guardian Ad Litem clinic, working on abuse, neglect, and dependency appeals through the law school. Call for a consultation at (828) 433-4800.

"A mistake was made by this firm after closing on our new property where a portion of our return funds did not come to us. We reached out for over a week about the matter. At one point, they needed to confirm that certain monies had been paid to the seller. We waited for the firm to look into it. They did nothing. So, I had to take matters into my own hands. They do not respond to emails, so don't try. The only way we could resolve the issue was by increasing the frequency of calls and emails to the point of becoming annoying. From other reviews I have read, their communication skills in general is very poor. The problem is resolved, but it was like pulling teeth."

"Attorney Lippert has never er been my Attorney; however, she was the arbitration Attorney today in Catawba County. Extremely fair, even though I was upset, it is not her fault and I would absolutely utilize her services. As a paralegal, I recognize someone with ethics and she does have them. Thank you for your kindness today, Ms. Lippert."

"I have been working with Ms. Lippert and Ms. Oliveros on a very impactful case, and I have to say, I can’t recommend a better legal team to have. Not only do they show care and attention to details, but work tirelessly and efficiently. If you want to actually be treated as a human, rather than a case, look no further and don’t waste your time with anyone else! They are absolutely incredible, and I am so thankful for their professional capabilities and skill!"
