DVLawyers AI Summary:

Kelley Law, LLC, has been dedicated to serving the residents of Maryland and the District of Columbia since 1998, focusing on a range of civil matters that are particularly relevant for survivors of domestic violence. Their main practice areas include Family Law, Divorce, Custody, Child Support, and Protective Orders, which are essential for individuals navigating the complexities of ending an abusive relationship and ensuring safety for themselves and their children. The firm presents itself as community-minded and accessible, which can be reassuring for survivors seeking legal assistance. Their commitment to affordable services reflects an understanding of the financial challenges that many individuals face, especially those coming from situations of domestic abuse. The tone of their communication appears to prioritize empathy and support, making it clear they are open to addressing any legal concerns without judgment, which is vital for survivors who may feel vulnerable or apprehensive about seeking help. While Kelley Law, LLC offers a broad range of services pertinent to family law and protective measures, survivors should consider their specific needs when choosing legal representation. It’s important for individuals to find a lawyer who not only understands the legal landscape but also recognizes the emotional and psychological nuances of domestic violence scenarios. This firm seems positioned to provide supportive and informed legal guidance, making them a potential fit for those needing assistance with protective orders or custody arrangements amid abusive circumstances. However, as with any legal representation, a direct conversation with the firm can help potential clients determine if their approach resonates with what survivors are looking for in a supportive attorney.

"I was referred to Mr. Kelley in 2013, he was fantastic, he was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and responsive to keeping me informed along the process, not only did my husband and family retain his services in 2013 but, he is our family’s attorney for everything and multiple family members have continued to only contact Darryl as their attorney, so if you are looking for someone to represent you in again a professional and who has a wealth of knowledge Mr. Kelley is the attorney to do so. You get what you pay for and good quality for a good value is what he offers."

"I have lost my faith in lawyers because of such of the horrible experience I had with this firm. I try to give everyone a chance but after my retainer was paid the attorney was ghost and never provided any feedback or actions on my civil case. I have loss $1500 and still in the same place I was prior to hiring. He sounds good on phone and paper but its a paycheck"
