About:

I started practicing law in 2017 as a Deputy District Attorney in Las Animas and Huerfano counties in Southern Colorado before moving to Colorado Springs in 2019 and working as a DDA there until 2021. During my time as a prosecutor I handled thousands of cases, both misdemeanor, traffic, and felony, and took just over two dozen cases to jury trial. After about 3 1/2 years of working as a prosecutor, I made the move to Criminal Defense with Right Law Group. The ability to work closely with my clients and see tangible results by improving their outcomes was one of the things that made criminal defense rewarding. With my background, I've been able to develop relationships with judges and prosecutors across Southern Colorado, leading to better offers for my clients. But for the cases that need to go to trial, I've honed these skills as well, securing numerous "not guilty" verdicts at trial for clients with just cases. In my free time I enjoy hiking the mountains of Colorado, homebrewing, and serving in the Colorado Army National Guard.
