Carrie E. Foglesong is Certified Family Law Specialist. She is an Orange County native. She graduated with high honors from California State University, Fullerton (B.A.) and from Loyola Law School Los Angeles (J.D.) where she was awarded the Dean’s Service Award for her work with at risk youth in Los Angeles. Carrie has a mediation back from time spent at The Center for Conflict Resolution at Loyola Law School and a criminal background from interning with the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office and the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office. While with the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office, Carrie prepared the DNC mass arrest response manual for the City Attorney’s Office, LAPD, and the US Attorney’s Office and an enforcement protocol for the prosecution of vendors selling tobacco to children, had prosecutorial experience at the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office, Whittier Superior Court, and at the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office, Reyes Branch, Special Enforcement Unit, Homeless Court Project. Carrie is a successful solo practitioner in Orange County with over two decades of experience. Carrie has been a partner at an Orange County family law firm serving clients in the areas of family law as well as probate court for guardianships, dependency court, elder abuse, adult criminal matters, juvenile criminal matters, civil restraining orders including work place violence, and mediation. Carrie, with her husband, has raised six children in Orange County, enjoys hiking, participating in obstacle course and Spartan racing. She believes in service and sits on the Board of Directors of Orange County Bar Foundation Project Youth, served on the Board of the College Legal Clinic at California State University, Fullerton, sat on the Board of Directors for the Boys and Girls Club, participated in Friends of CASA, and taught parental responsibility for Kids N Crime, a diversion program for at risk youth.
