About:
Before launching his own practice, Brian served as an Assistant Public Defender in Portage County, Ohio. While there, Brian made a name for himself by putting his own freedom at risk in order to defend his client's rights. When ordered by a rogue judge to proceed to trial after a mere two hours assigned to the case, Brian declined to begin the trial because he did not want to sacrifice the client's right to effective assistance of counsel and a fair trial. Brian was immediately arrested for refusing the judge's illegal orders. The case garnered national attention. The National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (NACDL) honored Brian for his actions with a President's Commendation for Outstanding Service to the goal's and objectives of the NACDL. Unlike many other law firms, Brian handles all of his cases personally. Brian provides clients with his mobile number and will return calls promptly. Brian does his own investigation of each case. This means that he is intimately aware of all the details of each case. This enables him to negotiate better deals and defend clients more effectively in court. It also means that Brian has lower costs, because he does not charge you more to pay for additional researchers or attorneys. "We had a great experience working with Zach and his team. From the beginning, his staff (Kristen) was incredibly empathetic, informative and responsive - she spent a lot of time with me on the phone answering my questions and helping me feel confident about the legal process. Zach successfully achieved what we needed, and I'm glad we chose to use his services (I debated if we needed representation, and we did!). It made a huge difference having someone experienced by our side; I'd make the same choice again."

"Zack worked with 2 of my family members, on 2 different cases, both with significant legal repercussions, one in particular, having multiple F1s indictments. In both cases, he was able to work and get minimal sentences, with a significant dismissal of several higher classed felonies in the larger case. For example, the larger case had a codefendant, with different legal representation, sentenced to 14-17 years, 0 time credited, the same case, with Zack hired as representation, the sentence was 6-9 years 500 days credited with multiple dropped charges. Thats a 50% cut in time. A win if you ask me. I would recommend this firm for any case, but in particular any case with higher stakes. Zack will fully get a recommendation with 100% confidence from me."
