"Recommend reading before making any decision. I was once a 5-star client, and the rating can go back to 4-5 stars depending on how this current situation is handled. First off: Mind you, I’m a “current” client (May 2024 through present, currently July-August 2025). This firm is helping me in California while I currently live in New York City. I require up-to-date information and assistance. The legal team removed me from CLIO to avoid me texting to report anything in the chat about complaints regarding on going issue related to the draft/custody agreement that they have taken over a year to provide to my compliant defendant (we are on good terms and have good communication). It started with $5k, I have so far given them approximately $10k. They only successfully processed one draft around the beginning of 2025, which the firm didn’t review it with me before sending it to the defendant. It was rejected, which I agreed with the defendant, and the law firm didn’t even give me a copy of that first draft. The defendant had to be the one to send me a copy of the first draft, which I didn’t approve of quarter of it as well. This led to the defendant to get her own lawyer just to assist with corrections and transparency. There was a counsel meeting and The counsel was canceled, but did my law firm contact me to notify me? No, I was notified by the defendant. Besides that: Today, July 30th, I called the firm for questions and updates. Erica, already annoyed, once again control the narrative of the call, insulted me by making a negative comprehensive comment, and further stated she is frustrated with me and my case. Hanged up, law firm further no longer taking my calls, a client from New York mind you, and further sent an email to restrict calls and clio messages, and then the manager stated if I control to text in clio it’ll be consider harassment. How so? Payment is made on time, I’m a client, and I don’t bother the firm and the firm hasn’t done anything but took payments. It’s a draft. What makes this even more worsts once Erica hanged up on me she emailed while stating the restriction of calls and clio, only making it where she gets email which is the person not making efforts to resolve this matter and instead worsening the matter. Sent this “If you are considering discontinuing representation, I am happy to prepare a Substitution of Attorney for your review and signature.” Which I decline, stated I pay for their services, and to follow through with the draft. I will update what’s going on after more is to be concluded I won’t keep it like this I will state the truth, either this goes bad or good I will update this review with 1 or 5 star with the truth of its conclusion because this isn’t good whatsoever to be in a place like this in public but I have to speak if I’m being limited in expression and not being talked with, I hired this law firm to assist in this case and all I getting is charged, I didn’t make a complaint about it until recent, and I expected integrity. As for the law firm, do not neglect my case anymore please, prioritize my case, it’s a draft, the pattern looks like it’s about the money and not to finalized my draft. You earn enough from me. Do your job and prioritize my case, and do not ever be unprofessional in insulting me from today forward."

"Erica was the level-head in my divorce when I was unable to remain calm. She was objective and focused on achieving the best possible outcome when everyone’s emotions were running high. She provided a rational perspective and prevented impulsive decisions that could have harmed my case, essentially acting as a buffer during the divorce. She thought ahead in the process and helped me to prove and obtain the protection I needed to feel safe again. She walked me through what could happen before each court appearance. In the end it wasn’t cheap, but I honestly feel that I got the best results that I could have possibly got. I would definitely recommend her and her staff."

"According to the California State Bar, there are only 5 Family Law specialists within the San Joaquin County. Erica is on that short list for good reason. She does her research, is prepared and ready to fight for you. She is backed by a great team and l'm confident they will deliver results for you as they did for me. Her rates are fair and worth every dollar."
