About:
For more than a decade, attorney Autumn Osbourne has provided skilled representation to North Carolina families in the courtroom and at the negotiating table. She is Board Certified by the North Carolina Board of Legal Specialization - a distinction held by less than 2% of all family law practitioners in the state - and has been recognized for her work by independent attorney rating organizations including but not limited to Thomson Reuters' and Avvo. However, for Autumn, the practice of law involves more than zealously advocating on behalf of clients and adhering to the profession's rules of ethics. "I feel every family in our community benefits from the work we do outside of our law firm's doors. It's been incredibly gratifying to work with organizations such as the Durham County Legal Aid Clinic and the Durham's Women Clinic as well as mentoring other attorneys in the family law arena." - Autumn Osbourne Autumn is passionate about the work she does for her clients and those in the community. Autumn earned her Juris Doctorate from the North Carolina Central University School of Law, and also holds a Masters degree from Virginia Commonwealth University and Bachelors degree from Virginia Tech. In her spare time, Autumn enjoys spending time with her family, being on their boat, going to the beach and just being outdoors.

"Unethical billing practices. No transparency about the work done until you receive your bill. They will take every penny in your name in one month doing unauthorized work before they do any real legal work on your behalf. You will not get it back. Absolutely no moral regard to look out for their client's interest or well being. Despicable. Avoid at all costs. EDIT TO ADD, since they replied: My conduct was to be transparent to confirm I was storing items for safekeeping. Your team's conduct was to review all of it at cost of $13545 at no notice to me. (Admitted no wrongdoing, only waived half because I was a new client.) Your team justified their work by saying my phrasing wasn't clear, and instead of emailing me for clarification chose to do unauthorized work. I thought I was clear, especially telling you to not parse through everything. Your excuse is that over a call you simply said "we've reviewed them" which sounds no different than reviewing material relevant to the notes I actually provided for review for our meeting, and with no advice of the time or money spent is extremely deceptive. You withheld that information. Why would I need to seek more information? What information did I have before a bill? Why isn't it your responsibility to tell your client what you're doing? Especially at such a significant cost to them. Unprofessional. Your lack of accountability is all any reader needs to see here. Go elsewhere for legal help. ADD, again: I paid my bill. Don't imply otherwise. You got the review you deserve."

"I worked with Autumn and Kirsten, and I am very pleased with the result. It was expensive, but at no point did I feel the costs were not justified. They were extremely responsive to all my concerns not only providing me with expert representation but also excellent advice in general. Moreover, despite the cost, I feel that they both strived to keep costs minimal."

"I’ll never forget this law office! From the moment I spoke to Ms.Christina , I felt heard, respected, and guided with honesty , not fluff. Ms. Christina made me feel right at home, especially when I found out she’s from NYC like me. That’s when I knew I was going to get the real, no-sugarcoating type of advice—and she absolutely delivered. She was direct but compassionate, and truly made me feel seen. And Mr. Gray was everything you want in an attorney: professional, upfront, and honest about the process, the costs, and the reality of my case. He didn’t try to overpromise or take advantage—he gave me the facts, laid out all my options, and helped me make the best choice for me and my child. Even though I won’t be moving forward with private representation at this time, I left feeling informed, empowered, and respected. That’s priceless. Thank you for being real, for caring, and for giving me clarity in a hard situation."
