I enjoy retirement in the Phoenix West Valley and volunteer to help people with legal aid. My law career has spanned various roles including prosecutor, defense attorney, Veterans Treatment Court advocate, and legal aid lawyer across Illinois, Wisconsin, Tennessee, North Carolina, and Arizona. I hold an active law license in Illinois and am accredited with the US Department of Veterans Affairs. I am a member of the Chicago Bar Association and the Maricopa County Bar Association. I earned my Juris Doctorate with Honors after retiring from a career in law enforcement and the military. I worked as a police officer in the Chicago and Milwaukee areas and served as a Military Police Sergeant during the Cold War, Gulf War, and Iraq War. My military service and combat wounds were awarded with a Purple Heart Medal.
