Amy has been practicing law exclusively in the area of Domestic Relations since 2003. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Dickinson College, graduating cum laude, with a double major in Sociology and Spanish. While at Dickinson, Amy was a Member of the Spanish Honor's Society, and also served as a Teaching Assistant and tutor. Continuing her education at the Dickinson School of Law of Pennsylvania State University, Amy received her Juris Doctorate. At Pennsylvania State, Amy was selected to Appellate Moot Court Board, and also served on the ACLU's "Know Your Rights Campaign." Amy also met her husband Noah Weisberg, a fellow law student, at Pennsylvania State. Over her many years of practice, Amy has been recognized by her peers for excellence in practice, being named as a Martindale Hubble SuperLawyers Rising Star, a Top Lawyer by Coastal Virginia Magazine, and one of the 10 Best Female Attorneys by the American Institute of Family Lawyers. Amy has also had the privilege of being a member of the prestigious I'anson Hoffman Inn of Courts. Amy practices extensively in all the Courts of Hampton Roads, including Williamsburg, York County, Gloucester, Matthews County, York County/Poquoson, Hampton, Newport News and Suffolk.

"I am extremely happy Jeremiah Asercion was my lawyer for my speeding ticket in Newport News. I called the firm, a lady answered (not voicemail), took all my particulars, she said Jeremiah was in court and would call me. He called me that afternoon, we spoke about my case and the options available. He was personable, positive and realistic about the case. At the court appearance, I got everything that I wanted - no fine and no points!"

"My Attorney Jeremiah Ascersion was really great at first at postponing my court date when my mother passed, but I wasn't impressed with him overall. After he got my money, he stopped returning my emails & phone calls. I found out when it was all said & done he knew the police officer wasn't going to shop up for the court date! We showed up it was dismissed because the officer no showed! He stated over the phone that he would reimburse me a portion of my money & he did not! He took full payment & left with a smile on his face! He didn't do what he stated he would do at all. If there is no case to try, why wouldn't you return the portion that wasn't used! Not impressed at all with his lack of ethical standards!"
