"DO NOT for any reason, hire this firm. Out of the mouths of several family/divorce attorneys in the kingwood area..."This firm will overbill-double charge--poor communication--delay in updates and/or results." I hired this firm (paid on June 28, 2025) - a $3500 retainer, which I have in writing, would more than likely result in an overpayment and refund at the end of the process. I have (with balance) paid over 10k with ZERO results. Poor communication, billed for things I have never seen nor heard about, received promises that go unresolved and had the exact opposite in what was discussed performed. At this point, I believe my attorney, that should have my best interest at heart, is really batting for the opposing party. I am in going to potentially lose my home because of this firm, and this was the ONLY item I asked for of my ex. Despite it being a loss or an uneven split of assets -- I just wanted it to be over. But, here we are, 4 months in, and nothing has been submitted to the bank and has caused animosity with the OP/OC. Whatever you do, do not hire this firm. They will drain you dry, charge you for things that have more than likely never occurred, and promise credits that apparently NEVER get placed on the account. They are liars and because of the high turnover rate with their firm, apparently will impact your wallet with little to no results."

"Updated October 1st 2025: ⭐☆☆☆☆ Would absolutely not recommend. Months of hell. • Floods their own reviews with clearly fake 5 star reviews from bots. (It's very obvious, new profiles that have never reviewed anything. Terribly written, very clearly AI they don't even try to hide it well.) • After final invoice, charged my card $500 and decided to start sending me a ton of payment reminders, when I have been overcharged. • Paid nearly $5,000 for five months of almost no progress. • No divorce agreement sent for months — yet both parties signed immediately once one was finally provided. • Divorce finalized in just 15 days after switching to a different law office. • Predatory billing practices — appeared to deliberately delay resolution for profit. • Unethical, unprofessional, and completely disorganized handling of my case. • Created unnecessary stress, financial burden, and emotional exhaustion. • Communication was slow, evasive, and consistently unhelpful. • I credit the completion of my divorce entirely to another firm, not this one. • Save yourself the time, money, and frustration — go to the office of Willis Everett Smith instead, they're life savers!! I hated my experience with this law firm so much, I cannot describe the amount of stress diarrhea this place caused me. Attorney Oiya Ali-Neely, I can't believe you did this to me. I will be looking into filing a complaint with the bar association. I am also speaking to a lawyer and the police today. I do not care what I have to do, I will get refunded what I'm owed. These people are disgusting."
