"Because I live out-of-state, I needed a serious NYC-based, more specifically, Bronx- based attorney in order to translate a RAP sheet to a United Kingdom foreign immigration office in order to get a VISA. Getting a settlement visa to a G-7 nation is excruciatingly difficult and you need the best working on all aspects of your application. I knew that careful interpretation of my ancient charges would be consequential, any inaccuracies could have disqualified me- I needed someone that was not only competent in New York criminal law but that understood the nature, context and history of crime, and punishment in the South Bronx in the 90s, and how this outcome would affect my family life. Mr Sanchez demonstrates true humanity, and understanding. Never did I feel that my conversations had to be terse due to billing matters. He was available at all hours-- we were shocked that some of his correspondence was time-stamped at 2:00 am on a Sunday-- a testament to this man's dedication and work ethic. Fortuitously, he spotted an administrative error in my RAP sheet that gave my application even more support. Thanks in part to the work of this man and his expertise, I was successful.
