After graduating, he spent two years in the U.S. Army with the rank of 1st Lieutenant and had a tour of duty in Vietnam for one year. Upon returning, he attended law school at the University of Idaho, graduating in 1974. He was the Owyhee County Prosecutor for approximately five years and has since been in private practice in both Owyhee County and Canyon County. He is admitted to practice in both State and Federal courts in Idaho and is a member of the Idaho Criminal Defense Attorney Associations. Alan J.
