If you're in need of a lawyer who steers clear of aggressive sales tactics, but instead uses their energy in aggressive and ethical litigation strategy, I'm your guy. For twelve years I dedicated myself to criminal defense, achieving numerous victories. Now, I've shifted my focus, leveraging my background as a registered nurse to work alongside a top-notch team of civil litigators. While my primary focus is on defending personal injury cases, I occasionally take on plaintiff's injury cases on a case-by-case basis. Simply put, we are not "billboard lawyers." During my time in criminal defense, I had the privilege of defending thousands of Georgians, most of whom were able to preserve their careers thanks to my efforts in proving their innocence. My clients have included military and medical personnel, pilots, MLB and NFL players, screen actors, and even fellow lawyers who found themselves in need of robust defense. I have been trained in Standardized Field Sobriety Testing and have completed coursework in the "Drug Recognition Expert" (DRE) model, recognized by law enforcement as the pinnacle of DUI and drug impairment detection training. Additionally, I've taken post-graduate coursework in Forensic Metrology, which is known as the "science of measurement." I maintain Registered Nurse licensure in Georgia, California, and the enhanced "multistate" eNLC license. Before my legal and nursing careers, I served as a firefighter, EMT-IV, and trail medic, where I trained in advanced vehicle extrication, high angle rescue, swift water rescue, and Search and Rescue (SAR). When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time with my four daughters and wife living and playing in the North Georgia mountains.
